In October 2011, together with students and professors from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, 11 Brandt School students and several professors attended a 10 day seminar in Moscow, entitled: “Public Policy and Governance in the EU and Russia”. Along with interacting with HSE students in work groups, lectures, and presentations, students visited sights of local NGOs like the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights and the Gulag Museum.
The Brandt School’s participation in this seminar was made possible by generous contributions from the Franz Haniel Foundation, a partner of the Brandt School.
